Taiwan has developed a sea-borne unmanned air vehicle for naval ships and the product was almost put on display at the recent Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition, Up Media reports.

Dubbed Chien Ping, the aircraft is based on the Albatross drone that is currently in service with the island’s military.
The aircraft is smaller in dimension and has a tailhook for recovery back aboard warships. One set of system has been installed on Cheng Kung-class frigate ROCS Tian Dan for testing.
