Greece has signed a statement of intent to buy two new frigates from France. It is believed that the two ships will be the BELH@RRA-class.

Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulo was in Paris for talks with his French counterpart Florence Parly.
Both sides also spoke on maintenance issues facing Greek Mirage 2000s.
