Kongsberg has signed a contract with the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency to deliver the Mobile Ground Based Air Defence to the Norwegian Army.

While reusing key parts from the NASAMS system, the new Mobile Ground Based Air Defence system will have the IRIS-T missile from Diehl Defence GmbH and a radar from Weibel Scientific A/S.
