Draken International’s Mirage F1s won’t fly from Dec. 2 for 90 days

Draken International is busy flight testing its regenerated Mirage F1 fighters in order to beat the Dec. 2 deadline when the airport closes the runway.

Flight testing is now being carried out at Lakeland Linder International Airport. The airport’s main runway 9/27 will be closed next month so that the airport can increase the depth of the runway’s asphalt to 9 inches. This will take up to 90 days.
