Breaking Defense reports that Israel has asked the U.S. government to give up two production slots for the KC-46A aerial refueling tanking in order for the Israeli Air Force to take early delivery of the aircraft.

The publication added that Israel will put forward a request to buy a “limited number” of V-22s after a new government is formed after the elections.
