The Sea Venom/ANL anti-ship missile has carried out its first qualification firing trial on Feb. 20 at the DGA Essais de missiles (DGA EM) test site at Ile Du Levant.

Fired from a Dauphin helicopter, the missile hits it target with manual aim point refinement from images transmitted back to the air crew from the missile’s uncooled imaging infrared (IIR) seeker via datalink.
