USN to convert another 253 AGM-88Bs into AGM-88Es

Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC has been awarded a $164 million contract to modify 253 AGM-88B anti-radiation missiles into 260 AGM-88E AARGM.

Marines assigned to the Thunderbolts of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 251 remove a training AGM-88 High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) from an F/A-18C Hornet on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is underway participating in a composite training unit exercise, which tests the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group’s ability to effectively react to real-world scenarios and perform as an integrated unit.
