Poll found 69% Americans feel that Capt. Crozier should not have been fired

Sixty-nine percent of Americans indicated in a Yahoo News/YouGov poll on the Trump administration’s handling of COVID-19 that the U.S. Navy was wrong to have Capt. Brett Crozier removed as commanding officer of USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Crozier was removed from his post by former acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly for demanding more help for his crew abroad the aircraft carrier. Modly has since resigned over the affair.
