CVN 78 commences second round of carrier qualifications

USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) is currently underway in the Atlantic Ocean for its second round of carrier qualifications (CQ) for Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) pilots.

VAW-117, VAW-120 and VFA-106 are involved in this iteration of CQ. This also an important milestone for VAW-117 as the squadron transitions to the E-2D.
