Assembly of KF-X to be finalized this year; 114 Indonesians left KAI during COVID-19

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) says it will complete the assembly of the KF-X fighter in the second half of this year.

Meanwhile, Korean media reported that 114 Indonesians assigned to KAI to work on the KF-X project had left South Korea since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is unknown if those technical personnel will return to South Korea as Indonesia had failed to make its annual payment to participate in the development program.
