A Indonesian Air Force Hawk 209 crashed while attempting to land on runway 36 Rusmin Nuryadin Air Base in Pekanbaru on Jun. 15.
The pilot ejected safely about 4 kilometers away in Kubang Jaya village and the aircraft destroyed three houses on the ground.
The engine had failed during the approach, news reports say.
