MK 54 torpedoes for Belgium and Germany

On Jul. 9, the U.S. government informed Congress on the potential sale of MK 54 torpedoes to Belgium and Germany.

Germany had requested for 64 torpedoes for its P-3C maritime patrol aircraft, the Foreign Military Sale is estimated to worth $130 million.

Belgium is requesting to buy 29 Mod 0 torpedoes for $33.3 million. They are meant for the NH90 helicopters.
