Nigel Pittaway reports that ten of the Boeing CH-47F helicopters that Singapore purchased in 2016 will be delivered straight to the Australian Army Aviation Training Centre at Oakey.

The island bought 16 helicopters and the remaining ones will be shipped to Singapore. The deliveries will commence in the first quarter of 2021.
Singapore has been deploying its military helicopters at Oakey since 1998. Currently five CH-47Ds are there. The fate of those five Chinooks are unknown.
