The U.S. Air Force’s 48th Fighter Wing has chosen five suggestions as finalists for the new name of the 495th Fighter Squadron.

The names are: Archangels, Sabres, Sentinels, Swordsmen and Valkyries.
A decision will be made within the next 30 days, a spokesperson from the wing said.
The 495th FS is being reactivated as the F-35A squadron at RAF Lakenheath.
