United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) said in a statement that the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group is all Chinese military activities and no U.S. Navy warships, aircraft or sailors were threatened.

The statement is in response to news reports that Chinese H-6K bombers had carried out a mock attack on the aircraft carrier on Jan. 23 while the vessel was trasiting south of Taiwan.
Reuters quoted an anonymous official as saying that the Chinese aircraft did not come within 250 nautical miles of the ship.
