Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense has changed the reporting format for intrusions into its southwestern ADIZ.
For the first time on Jan. 31, the report mentions the presense of U.S. military aircraft. The plane is believed to be a U.S. Navy EP-3E BuNo. 159893 and its Mode-S transponder signal was picked up south of Taiwan that day.
The title of the report has also changed from “PLA aircraft entered Taiwan’s southwestern ADIZ” to “Airborne activities in the southwestern ADIZ of R.O.C.”
