The first 7 USAF student pilots to graduate without having to fly the T-6

The U.S. Air Force’s “Accelerated Path to Wings” flight training program has graduated its first seven students on Mar. 12.

They were able to receive their wings after seven months of training and flying the T-1 Jayhawk. Traditionally, those who fl heavy aircraft in Air Mobility Command had to complete 12 months of training and spent on phase flying the T-6 before moving on to the T-1.
