Fort Smith Times Record reported that a Singapore flag was flown at the base that day. Ebbing is now one of the three locations being considered. A public affairs specialist from the Arkansas Air National Guard declined to disclose the other two locations.

A decision was delayed due to transition from Trump to Biden administration.
