A Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J was forced to make an emergency landing at Kadena Air Base on Mar. 18 at around 9:31 a.m. local time after taking off from Naha Air Base.
The pilot encountered difficulties retracing its landing gears.
It made an arrested landing at Kadena and was towed to a hangar at 9:52 a.m. after inspection.
