Raytheon is taking the existing Tomahawk Block IV missiles from inventory to recertify and upgrade them to the Block V configuration.

The mid-life recertification process is done at Raytheon’s Camden, Arkansas facility. The process replaces life-limited components in Block IV missiles.

To become a Block V missile, a NAV/COMMs upgrade is carried out on the missile that maintains the capability for In-Flight Target Updates and Improved Navigation.
