Hellenic Air Force Museum’s Spitfire MJ755 has left England for its trip home to Greece, the warbird is expected to arrive home on May 27.
It is scheduled to land in Tatoi at 3 p.m. local time.
This aircraft was part of the 77 Spitfires which Britain sent to the Hellenic Air Force in 1947. It made its last operational flight in 1953 and was later retired to the Hellenic Air Force Museum.
