Current flight testing of the Boeing T-7A has revealed a wing rock issue with the advanced jet trainer. Couple with other issues affecting the development program, the U.S. Air Force has decided to delay the full-rate production decision from 2022 to 2023.

The service said in a statement that the program is also facing supplier-side critical parts shortages and initial design delays.
