Indonesia to take $700 million foreign loans to buy 2 aerial refueling tankers

Janes reports that the Indonesian Ministry of Finance has given the green light to seek foreign loans up to $700 million for the acquisition of two aerial tankers for the Indonesian Air Force.

Janes added that the tanker must be able to employ both the probe-and-drogue and flying boom aerial refueling methods.
