Wang Tai Yu passed away on Jul. 8 and our good friend Chris Pocock has written a tribute for him. Wang was one of the six original pilots from Taiwan who went for conversion to fly the U-2 in 1959.
Wang flew a total of nine missions over China and he was the third squadron commander of the U-2 unit, the 35th squadron, better known as Black Cat squadron.
