There are two main reasons for this.
The first is the growing exchange of fire along the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which many believe may lead to a third conflict.
Second, the relationship between Israel and Azerbaijan is becoming closer, especially after Baku’s successful 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war and the opening of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Tourism in Israel.
Several deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars will be signed in the coming months.
Azerbaijani cargo planes have also been landing in Israel in the recent days to pick up missiles and ammunition.
