South Korea’s Defense Agency for Technology and Quality has cleared the indigenous Cheongung II air defense missile system for mass production.
Recent testing were carried out at the Anheung test site of the National Defense Science Research Institute.
The system utilizes the 9M96 interceptor missile used on the Russian S-350E and S-400 systems.
