Testing were carried out by an operational aircrew from the 492 Special Operations Training Group Detachment 2 and a test aircrew from the 418th Flight Test Squadron in order to demonstrate the feasibility of a palletized delivery of long-range strike weapons in an operationally-relevant environment.

The Rapid Dragon Program will complete a live-fire test with a production JASSM-ER from a cargo aircraft before the end of 2021, the U.S. Air Force says.
