41st Rescue Squadron retires its HH-60G

The 41st Rescue Squadron officially retired its HH-60G rescue helicopter on Sept. 29. The unit will transition to the HH-60W Jolly Green II.

The rotorcraft was flown on the final flight by retired Lt. Col. Steven Colby along with his son, Maj. Justin Colby, 41st RQS HH-60 pilot. The helicopter, #356, was delivered to the squadron by the senior Colby in 1994.
