First woman pilot to go direct for F-35C conversion after getting Wings of Gold

Lt. j.g. Suzelle Thomas is the U.S. Navy’s first woman to directly go for F-35C conversion training after getting her Wings of Gold.

Thomas received her wings during a ceremony at NAS Meridian on Oct. 29.

She will undergo her conversion training at VFA-125 in Lemoore.
