A new video published by the Singapore Minstry of Defense has confirmed that the Saab RBS 70 New Generation (RBS 70 NG) man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) has been delivered to the island.
The new system, which as a rectangular sighting window, can be seen on the 1:42 mark of the video. The previous system employs a circular window.
The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) disclosed the purchase of the RBS 70 NG last year during the Singapore Airshow.
