Morocco is said to have received the FD-2000 long-range air defense missile system that it bought from China.
The unit is to be based at Sidi Yahia el-Gharb, north east of Rabat.
The layout of the missile site is different from the Chinese ones and is circular in pattern. There is no pad in the middle for the radar to be station.
