Kuwait’s Army General Staff H.Q. has refuted media reports that the country will sell its F/A-18C/D fighters to Malaysia.

The statement says the sale will be announced directly by the Committee for the Disposal of Assets if it takes place.
It added that the sale of Hornets require the approval of the U.S. government.
