Yonhap has disclosed that South Korea intends to test fire the long-range L-SAM air defense missile this week.
Testing is expected to be carried out at a test site in Taean on Feb. 23.
The L-SAM is designed to intercept ballistic missiles at an altitude of 80-100 kilometers.
