U.S. donating two King Air 360ER to Sri Lanka

The U.S. government has Textron Aviation $11 million to manufacture two King Air 360ER aircraft for delivery to Sri Lanka.


The Sri Lanka Air Force will be using the two planes for maritime surveillance in its Exclusive Economic Zone.

Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 26, 2025, the Pentagon accounted on Feb. 14.

ColomboPage says delivery of first aircraft is expected end of the year or early next year.
