Vietnam veteran reunited with the AH-1G he flew during the war

Retired U.S. Army Capt. Jim Mitschke was reunited with the Bell AH-1G attack helicopter that he flew with during the Vietnam War recently at Yuma Proving Ground.

Serving as a pilot with Charlie Battery, 4/77th Aerial Rocket Artillery of the 101st Airborne Division, Mitschke clocked more than 750 hours on the AH-1 in Vietnam. Most of them with #68-17028, the aircraft that he visited.
