510th EFS replaces 480th EFS for NATO’s Enhanced Air Policing mission in Romania

The 510th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron has deployed six F-16s from Italy to Romania to relief the 480th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron for the support of NATO’s Enhanced Air Policing mission in the Black Sea region.

They are based at Fetesti air base and the 510th EFS will work with Italian Eurofighters for this mission.
