Canadian WWII ace James “Stocky” Edwards has passed away

James “Stocky” Edwards, a Canadian World War II ace, has passed away on May 14 at the age of 100. He was three weeks shy of his 101st birthday.

Edwards achieved most of his kills over North Africa from 194 and 1943. He is credit with shooting down two German aces while flying the P-40 Kittyhawk.
