The British government will commit $375 million to give the Royal Navy’s Type 45 destroyers a Maritime Ballistic Missile Defense capability.

The warships will be equipped with the ASTER 30 Block 1 missile interceptor and SAMPSON Multi-Function Radar (MFR) will be updated, along with the Sea Viper command and control missile system.
