Naval Air Forces orders one-day safety pause for today after 3 crashes

Naval Air Forces has ordered non-deployed aviation units to hold a one-day safety pause on Jun. 13 after three crashes in a month.


The first accident was a F/A-18E crash in San Bernardino County that killed its pilot, it occurred on Jun. 3.

A second fatal crash of a MV-22B killed five Marines on Jun. 8, including the son of former Major League Baseball player Steve Sax.

The next day, a MH-60S crashed with four on board.
