A Minotaur II+ rocket exploded 11 seconds after launch on Jul. 6 during a test from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
KSBY news says the test was in support of the development of the new Mk21A reentry vehicle that will be used in the LGM-35 Sentinel intercontinental ballistic missile.
