The U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) has entered into an agreement with Rocket Lab for a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to explore sending cargo across the globe via space.

The collaborative investigation will look into the feasibility of using Rocket Lab’s Neutron and Electron rockets for this purpose.
The possibility of using Rocket Lab’s Photon spacecraft as a cargo depot on-orbit will be explored as well.
