The U.S. Air Force’s Air Mobility Command (AMC) has been doing preliminary studies on how space launchers offered by private companies can be utilized to ferry cargo to remote destinations rapidly.
Speaking to reporters, head of AMC Gen. Carlton D. Everhart II, said several internal white paper studies on the idea have been written.
He had meet executives from SpaceX plus Virgin Orbit and will be holding discussions with Blue Origin.
