RAF to establish 25 (F) Squadron to fly Hawk T2

Prompted by the increased demand for fast jet pilots, the Royal Air Force (RAF) has decided to establish 25 (F) Squadron to operate the BAE Systems Hawk T2 together with 4 Squadron at RAF Valley.

The new unit will take over the first phase of the Advanced Fast Jet Training (AFJT) and both 4 and 25 Sqns will be training pilots from the Royal Navy as well.
