On Aug. 30, Lt. Col. Ian Bass, 5th Flying Training Squadron Assistant director of operations and T-6 instructor pilot, become one of the few pilots in the world to clock 5,000 flight hours on the T-6.

Bass had previously flown for the Navy for nine years before transferring his commission to the Air Force.
When he retires, sell him a T-6 so that he will fly every day!
