Five Philippine Air Force (PAF) FA-50PH light fighters escorted the airliner carrying President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as it enters the country’s airspace on Sept. 25.
“Actual escort lasted for a few minutes only and most flight time were spent in monitoring of waters and flight proficiency training,” said Col. Ma. Consuelo Castillo, spokesperson for the PAF.
