NASAMS fires AIM-9X, AMRAAM, and AMRAAM-ER in first-of-its kind capability demonstration

In partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory Strategic Development Planning and Experimentation (SDPE) office, Raytheon Missiles & Defense conducted a first-of-its kind Air Base Air Defense experiment in which AIM-9X, AMRAAM, and AMRAAM-ER were fired from NASAMS.

Mageshima island FCLP proposal moves forward with land sales

The Japanese government is set to acquire the site of an abandoned school and school dormitory on Mageshima island as part of the plan to turn the island into a field carrier landing practice (FCLP) site for the U.S. Navy.

Bell has proposed license production of AH-1Z with Korean Air

The South Korean Marine Corps is shopping for an attack helicopter and Bell is proposing to license build its AH-1Z with Korean Air in order to secure the contract.

BQM-177A achieves FOC during SM-2 exercise in the Philippine Sea

The BQM-177A subsonic aerial target achieved full operational capability during a launch and intercept as part of Pacific Vanguard 2022 (PV 22) in the Philippine Sea on Aug. 28.
