Japan to deliver first air surveillance radar to Philippines next month

Mitsubishi Electric is set to deliver the first FPS-3ME air surveillance radar to the Philippines next month.

The Japanese embassy in Manila said the transfer has started. An inspection of the radar equipment was carried out in September.

The Philippines bought three FPS-3ME fixed and one TPS-P14ME mobile radars back in 2020.
