U.S. government clears sale of 24 C-130Js to Australia

The Biden administration has given approval for Australia to buy 24 C-130J-30 aircraft and related equipment on Nov. 2.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency made the announcement shortly after Australia says it will stick with the C-130J for its future airlifter project.

In Transmittal No 22-62, the DSCA says the Foreign Military Sale contract is worth up to $6.35 billion.
