APKWS guidance kits have been successfully used by BAE Systems to guide 70mm rockets against Class-2 unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that weigh approximately 25-50 pounds and are capable of traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.
Fast-moving drones were destroyed during the demonstration in Southern Arizona using APKWS-guided rockets.
