Canada to proceed with CH-149 Mid-Life Upgrade, buying three more helicopters

Canada has tasked Leonardo with executing the CH-149 “Cormorant” Mid-Life Upgrade (CMLU) Project by awarding a contract $736 million to the Italian aerospace giant.

A330 MRTT and Tornado to participate in EDA’s automatic air-to-air refuelling

The European Defence Agency (EDA) is launching a new research project to improve the efficiency and success rate of air-to-air refuelling (AAR) missions that uses the hose and drogue method by developing an automated system.

Skyways Air Transportation and Martin UAV compete in unmanned logistics demo

The use of unmanned systems for logistics operations at sea was recently demonstrated by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in collaboration with the Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems program (PMA-263) at NAS Patuxent River in Maryland.
